Making the Header Card Art for Red Vader Grenade Release

For the release of the 3D-printed Red Vader Grenade (designed by Han Yew Hock) for TOYSREVIL's 10x10 Anniversary Edition, I had wanted to contribute to the project by providing the header-card art for this bagged-n-tagged collectible.

I had taken direct inspiration from Yew Hock's interpretation of the skull beneath a crushed Darth Vader helmet, and first did a inked sketch over basic pencils, and colored the red aspect of the skull with felt marker.

I knew I had wanted to invert the black-no-white into white-on-black in photoshop afters (primarily because I had failed to find black card to draw on! LOL), with allowance given for hand-numbering of the item with felt-pen on the final printed header.

As most releases recently, I had opted to print the header into 4R matt, folded, and hand-stappled unto the baggy. I am happy with the result, and hoped purchasers of the collectible will be too :)

Purchase the RED VADER GRENADE HERE in the shop! Thanks for your consideration, purchase and support, folks!

Cheers
Andy Heng
